[ANN] Why planetrubyonrails.com feed is broken 4

Hi folks,

Recently I received a complaint about some random website using planetrubyonrails.com feed in a way that breaks copyrights of the original blog poster. And after giving it a few thoughts, I arrived at the conclusion that planetrubyonrails.com should be a web reading only thingy, in order to protect rights of the original blog posters and keep it all fair, as rss feed aggregation is quite tricky. If you’re subscribed to plate feed, I’d suggest you take some time to subscribe to individual blogs instead ( hence driving traffic to their feeds, something they trully deserve ) , which you are interested in.     Thanks for doing planetrubyonrails!

    I just don’t get it! You are not guilty when somebody is ripping off the feed, are you? Anyhow what’s the different when it’s ripped off from original blog or from the planet feed?

    I’m just google reader user and really missing the planet feed :-(

    I really do appreciate you doing PlantRubyOnRails. I respect your decision not to have the feed but would be really nice.

    I check planet about 10 times a day so I dont miss anything =P
